Verein für Nonprofit-Management e.V.

Verein für Nonprofit-Management e.V. was founded in 2012 as an interface between theory and practice in the non-profit sector to promote a lively exchange of knowledge and experience between students and graduates of the Master's degree course “Management in Nonprofit Organizations” at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences and non-profit organizations in Osnabrück, Germany and worldwide. The network supports students and graduates on their way into the profession and at the same time offers organizations the opportunity to recruit junior staff in a targeted manner.

This is achieved, for example, by

The placement of internships, theses and jobs
The organization of fireside evenings and excursions
Active networking and alumni work

Master of Management in Nonprofit Organisations

Nonprofit organizations are growing rapidly and playing an increasingly vital role, which has also led to greater competition within the sector. The Master’s program in “Management in Nonprofit Organizations” at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences equips 30 students each year with the essential skills for leadership roles in foundations, associations, and social institutions.

Since 2009, this program has welcomed up to ten students annually from Africa, Latin America, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East through the DAAD Helmut-Schmidt Master’s scholarship program. As a result, international students comprise 30-50% of the cohort, creating a diverse, globally-minded learning environment.
